Pareena Gupta

Founder & Executive Director

Pareena Gupta is a sophomore at Amador Valley High School in Pleasanton, CA. She founded The Sustainability Lens to pursue her love for environmental science, math, and journalism, striving to make a meaningful impact through community engagement. Pareena serves as a page editor for her school newspaper, where she explores the intricacies of news reporting and print journalism. Additionally, she proudly represents her peers as a Youth Commissioner for the City of Pleasanton, serving as a vital link between the city's youth community and its City Council. She's also a trained dancer in Kathak and Bollywood styles. In her free time, Pareena enjoys dancing, running, watching Gilmore Girls, and keeping up with local news in the Pleasanton Weekly.
